Study Abroad - Nantes, France
Nantes is a beautiful city in France. It has a gorgeous Cathedral and has a shopping avenue next to it. At the shopping avenue, there is a shopping arcade called Passage Pommeraye. It was super convenient and cheap to travel. Nantes has a well mapped out tramway that reaches most parts of the city. Otherwise, there are busses and they were safe. I love Europe and its cultures, and I wanted to explore more on that. Every weekend I traveled to a new city in France or a new country in Europe and I learned about the place and enjoyed going to museums. My personal favorite memory was traveling every weekend to different countries and was trying the different types of wine in France. My mind opened up a lot and I realized how much I like to be adaptable and how to communicate when there are language barriers. It made me realize that I can be as independent as I want to be and there is no limit to that. My friends back home were envious of seeing me travel to the places I did in Europe. My biggest challenge was trying to understand French and communicating in French. Another challenge I faced was to find vegetarian food since I am a vegetarian.
